A device can give you vivid experiences of the achievements and relationships you want for one year. The people you meet inside are simulated, and completing a task there does not complete any task outside.
Your external responsibilities will be fulfilled on your behalf. Once you start, you cannot leave for the year. No additional bodily risk or cost is introduced in this case.
